This book is an autobiography of a person diagnosed as an adult as high functioning on the autistic spectrum. Receiving a diagnosis was very much something that made my whole life make sense. I hope that in places this is a book that will bring laughter to readers. My life has certainly had its share of joy. However, it is also a book that is filled with trauma. I have tried to be as open, and bluntly honest as I possibly can about what are my most intimate experiences. I don't doubt that some of my book will be difficult to read in places. However, I feel that only by sharing my story, and talking about experiences can we truly enhance our understanding of each other as a human race. Furthermore, only by understanding each other as a human race can we truly become better individuals, and only then can we create a better, safer, and happier society. A friend of mine suggested that I was too young to write an autobiography. I responded stating that I felt that the first three and a bit decades of my life were so eventful, and that perhaps the rest of my life would now be boring. My friend stated that having known me for well over a decade he felt it was safe enough to say that my life was never going to be boring. In any event, if the rest of my life isn't boring, I can always create a sequel. I hope my story educates you in some way. I hope my story entertains you in some way. Above all, I hope to use my story to inspire forgiveness, tolerance and above all kindness.
