This book offers a unique interactive approach to addressing the issues sexual consent and discontent. However, there are different ways of thinking, and how we think about sex will affect how we approach it. This is critical to avoiding errors that can cause unhappiness and even abuse. The approach I have put forward in this book is two-fold. The first is reflexive - understanding ourselves. Any sort of interaction with someone else at whatever level needs some kind of reflexivity. We often say things that hurt or please others unintentionally. Most of us do not have the benefit of the other person communicating their feels to us directly and so we depend heavily on emotional intelligence. This is the privilege and the burden of social interaction. It is hard work and requires us to go back and ask ourselves questions about how we come across and how to be accepted.
