Sex and Champagne is set in the glitz of the annual Cannes Film Festival, but accurately describes what happens in the shadows created by the money that the festival brings, drugs, alcohol, prostitution and abuse.

Dana, a beautiful though naive young woman decides to move up in the world and obtains a job in a 'Champagne bar' not knowing that is just a front for the 'oldest profession.' She soon looses her naivety and starts dating Jack Holloway an American who, unknown to Dana, is an Internet pornographer and serial killer on the run from the F.B.I. Her life spirals into decline until, with her friend Martha, she hatches a plot to get Jack Holloway out of her life for ever. Unknown to Dana, she is Matt's link (FBI) to Jack Holloway. Dana's plan goes horribly wrong because of an incredible twist caused by Martha's boyfriend Edgar.
