This is it!

I found this book when i decided i wanted to tackle my first quilt. Thank god i did. THis is my first project bigger than a tote bag and i couldn't be more pleased. Chances are you aren't going to complete the thing in 7 days if you feel the need to eat, sleep, or make something bigger than a lap quilt. . .but she makes the process is so simple. Steps:Pick out fabric, figure how much you need (it's simplified), tear into strips, cut into squares, mark backs with templates, and start sewing strips together. Sew those strips together and you have a top. Add batting and the backing and booom......quilt! Finishing instructions tell you how to tuft the quilt to finish, but after all that work I think i'll bet you'll want to find someone to quilt the top for you. That's what i'm doin. Have fun with you first quilt!
