Expressing the Filipino Spirit

I read this book right after I met some of the authors, after a memorable night of reading at a San Francisco bookstore. Seven Card Stud with Seven Manangs Wild is filled with moving and beautiful stories. My favorite chapter is the the one titled after the book. This story truly shows the spirit of the Filipino people. Buy this book and support Filipino American authors. Our stories and history need to be further explored and expressed.
