You may remember a television show called, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous", which made its debut in 1984. The show featured the extravagant lifestyles of wealthy entertainers, athletes and business entrepreneurs. Their wealth influenced to a large degree the way in which they lived. If you were to look up the definition of the word "lifestyle" in a dictionary, it would be defined as a way of life or a style of living that reflects the values and attitudes of a person or group. Take for example the individual who lives a "healthy" lifestyle. From the food they eat to the physical exercise they employ, the way they live is based on their values and attitudes with a focus on health.Scripture teaches us that the lifestyle of a Christian is holiness as we follow Christ.We see this lifestyle clearly laid out for us in the books of 1st and 2nd Peter. Peter lived in close proximity to Jesus Christ for more than three years, learning from His example and what it looked like to live in holiness amidst a hostile world.
