Service Matters: Living a Life of Kingdom Impact Through Serving Others

By R. C. Nash

"The greatest among you shall be your servant." - Matthew 23:11 (NASB)
In a world that often celebrates power, recognition, and personal achievement, Jesus calls His followers to something radically different: a life of service. Far from being optional or secondary, service is at the very heart of what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
In Service Matters, pastor and author R. C. Nash explores the biblical call to serve with joy, humility, and eternal purpose. Drawing from Scripture, personal experience, and decades of ministry, he shows that true greatness is not found in being served, but in serving others in the name of Jesus.
Through rich teaching and practical application, Service Matters will help you discover: The example of Jesus, the Servant King, who laid down His life for us.Why love must be the motivation for all service. How everyday tasks can become acts of worship. The power of service to bring unity to the church and compassion to the world. The cost of service-and the eternal rewards God promises to the faithful. Each chapter concludes with reflection questions and action steps, making this book ideal for personal study, small groups, or church-wide use.
Whether you serve in the spotlight or behind the scenes, in the home or in the community, in ways that are visible or unseen, this book will remind you: your service matters. It matters to God, it matters to others, and it matters for eternity.
