This book began life as a series of sixteen short talks from a religious perspective presented on social media each Sunday morning during the UK lockdown between 22nd March and 5th July 2020 necessitated by the pandemic. They are a layman's reaction to the closure of places of worship, the removal of the right to gather together for worship and his response to measures which have the potential to stifle or silence the preaching and teaching of God's word.They were also intended to give comfort and encouragement to those in isolation who may have been alone, anxious and cut off from family, friends or faith communities.
