16 sermons on the parables of Jesus from one of the great Methodist preachers of the 20th century. Chappell is insightful and "down home," biblical and evangelical in the very best sense of that word. Though his written sermons in no way come close to capturing the magic of his spoken word, they are nevertheless wonderful devotional material.
