Interesting book, worth the time!

I bought this book out of curiosity to bide time in between missions while deployed...I have to say I wanted to read the entire book in one sitting. Each story is well written with facts that aren't mentioned in the movies. This book also reveals serial killers I haven't heard of. It definitely goes into their minds & almost makes you feel as if you're there at the crime scene. If you're curious about the 'stories' of serial killers, read this book!

Great Read!!!

Great book! When I get books about serial killers, or mass murderers, I am reluctant to read them at first. But once I opened this book, I could not close it! Some names are immediately recognizable, while others are those less known. Great book, recommend everyone to get a copy who is interested!

loved it

im not a huge fan of reading... i can think of only a handful of books that i have read cover to cover, that held my interest... maybe 4 total? i was going on a long bus ride however, & decided i should get some reading material in case my ipod died! i loved this book! i literally could not put it down! i just kept on reading to find out what would happen next... i suppose anyone searching under this type of book likes this sorta stuff, but i must warn readers it is somewhat graffic-- the killings aren't sugar-coated. the material didn't bother me bc im a criminal justice major- but if you're looking for a more scientic view towards serial killers- this is NOT a book for you. this book will teach you about infamous people throughout history & shock you to the point of entertainment.

Entertaining read

This book was very entertaining. The chapters were well written and to the point. You could tell the author was very educated on the subject he was writing about, but didn't run on and on about it. It just never ceases to amaze me, the depravity and madness that sometimes occurs in the minds of humans. Some of these murderers just seemed to become INHUMAN after you read of their crimes! Very good, short and to the point book for true crime buffs!

one of the best books written on serial killers

Vronsky book is one of the best books written on the subject. Vronsky deal with the phenomena in a uniq way by telling the history of serial killers since ancient Europe untill today. Vronsky is summing up the theoretical knoeledge about the causes and classifues of serial murders, and makes it more easy to deal with the different sights that different writters has on the subject.
