Turning thirty can be frightening for any woman, especially when she is not currently satisfied with her life in a huge city like London. Veronica is one of those women. With an unclear idea for a career, a heart that has been shattered too many times and a bank account that is constantly at zero or overdrawn, she desperately wants to start living her life but does not know how. One day she is walking down the street and discovers a "serendipity" shop, where she starts learning how to use mirror neurons to make people around her-and ultimately herself-happy. Her constant personality struggles do not prevent her, however, from getting together with her four best friends to spend an evening full of alcohol and revelations. The next morning, she realizes that three of those friends have had an epiphany and have headed to find their "true selves" in three different parts of the world. Veronica needs to find her friends before it is too late. Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi and Jerusalem are only three of the places that Veronica and Clara-the only friend who remained with her-would have to visit in this adventure full of emotions, strange people, magical destinations, herbs and venoms, as well as some criminal activities. Serendipity Calls is the story of the challenges of modern life and how far each of us is willing to go when destiny is testing us.
