SERBIAN COOKERY is a wonderful cookbook

I happened upon my first copy on EBay and noticed the following week another copy for hundreds of dollars. I learned by inquiring what was behind the high price listing - that this is one of the most popular cookbooks to give to children in Serbian families as a continued written record of some of the best recipes. The only other cookbook more popular that I was told to get my eyes peeled for is a vintage cookbook:Serbian Sisters Princess Zorka Favorite Recipes Cookbook. I have enjoyed giving as many copies of Serbian Cookery as I have been able to find - to the children that did not get the know our Babas and Dedas from the old Yugoslavia before they passed. I’ve also given a copy of other cookbooks that my older Aunts in the family tirelessly poured over before giving their approval. I wanted each of my younger cousins to have a collection of traditional cookbooks representing each of their varied cultures (some of their parents married Italian, Greek, Russian-so quite a unique mix of foods). Thank you for providing this cookbook it completes the Yugo-Serbian recipe collection for me. I have just 3 more to purchase.
