Sequenda: Buch II der utopischen Trilogie New News from the West

By Candace Carter

In We Save the World, guided by the principles of non-violence, friendship and music, Pascal and his companions brought dualism to an end and ushered humanity into the Age of the Parousia. But what if there were other worlds or, more precisely, other dimensions? Sequenda is the second book of the utopian trilogy New News from the West. Pascal follows his dog Timi2 through a mysterious curtain and finds himself in a universe where the boundaries of the real dissolve into the imagined, and every encounter is a mirror of the infinite. But as Dante had Virgil, Pascal has his friend Joe, the man with the black hat and the rabbit Goldie. In their travels they encounter a motley crew of inhabitants: real, literary, alien and comic. Listening to their stories Pascal begins to realize his path is not chosen but given, and that beyond every ending a new beginning awaits. At first shocked and reluctant, Joe reminds him: Hey Pascal, you were a hero in the past, and heroes never just end up buying a house in the suburbs.
