Mathura artist mostly used spotted red sand stone Mathura main workshop of Kushana age and Kushana were cosmopolitan and secular. Salbhanjika and various pose of female sculpture is peculiarity of Mathura and Sanghol art of Kushana age. These sculptures images included drinking scenes Bacchanalian scene of Vasantsena, Yakshi with bird. Khadagdharini Yakshi, lady bathing Yakshi with mirror Prasadhika, Bronze Yakshi, double sided Yakshi etc. all made at Mathura studio.
