Master of rhetoric he was the main representative of Stoicism during the Roman Empire.Lucius Annaeus S neca, known as S neca the Young, was born in Cordoba, Spain, around the year 04 BC, during the Roman Empire. Son of the famous speaker Lucius Annaeus S neca (the Old Man), still a child, he was sent to Rome to study oratory and philosophy.In Rome, Seneca received teachings from several masters who initiated him into Stoicism. Later, he spent a season in Egypt for health treatment.
