What is Genro? Simple, it's a distant planet in a distant solar system.And what is so interesting there? Very simple, it's inhabitants, who call themselves Chafren, are a mixture of humans and animals and live in a pre-industrial society. Partly medieval, partly conservative and in some details almost involuntarily bizarre, they live together peacefully and harmoniously, hunting their prey in the traditional way. Modern weapons are foreign to them. This changes abruptly, however, when a strange and extremely aggressive machinery, which was slumbering on their planet, gets up and declares war on them. The fight, which initially was supposed to serve the return to their normal life, gradually changes into a fight for bare survival. In the course of this, the Chafren lose their faith, their accustomed social form and ultimately even the knowledge of their origins.When the situation threatens to escalate completely and there seems to be no way out, help comes from a completely unexpected direction.
