Mexican Star Selena

Jennifer Lopez is outstanding as the Mexican pop star Selena. Her parents are portrayed as a bit less rigid than they actually were and there could have been more about her husband of the day. Watching her climb to stardom is graceful and her eventual death is heartbreaking even though you don't see it. Definitely a chick flick movie.
