As of November 2010, Phase II clinical trials with the SEGRA mapracorat investigating the topical treatment of atopic dermatitis and inflammation following cataract surgery have been completed, but no results are available. Such trials attempt to determine whether the theoretical concept translates into an actual clinical benefit.
