John Hilton is a poet and author who has lived in Bath since 2020. Prior to this, he spent most of his life in Bristol. He has published many volumes of poetry, two novels, four collections of short stories and two volumes of spiritual essays. He also paints.

It encompasses a broad spectrum of tone, subject matter and form, utilising direct language and often carrying an intense emotional charge. There are sad poems, happy poems, challenging poems, unreliable narrators, funny poems, angry poems, ridiculous poems, poems of heartbreaking loss and a lot more besides.
