“I’m not making you crazy!”

This is a great situation comedy. A recluse writer, Chevy Chase as “Nicholas 'Nick' J. Gardenia” is forced to be the front man in a bank robbery. He takes a good picture. Goldie Hawn as “Glenda Gardenia Parks” is an attorney who defends everything from wayward Indians to lost dogs. It turns out that she is also Nick’s ex. She finds Nick hiding in the garage and attempts to bring him chicken and beer. Now she must convince Nick to turn himself in. Charles Grodin as “Ira J. Parks,” Glenda’s present husband, is the district attorney. While Ira is entertaining the Governor of California, Nick serves him and the governor chicken pepperoni. Well, you get the idea.
