A Pastor's Heart

Having read Dr. Neal's other book, Grace Upon Grace, I just had to buy this book; I'm very glad I did. While Grace Upon Grace comes from the author's mind, Seeking the Shepherd's Arms is very much a journey into this thinking-pastor's heart. In this book he deals with a large number of theological and Biblical subjects, but he does so in a way which is both pastoral and devotional. Each chapter is short, deals with a confined subject, and ends with questions for devotional prayer and consideration. My wife thinks this book is an excellent resource for small groups, prayer-circles, and Sunday School Classes. I found it a blessing to me, personally, for it helped me to see that other pastors do stuggle with these kinds of topics every day. Thank you, Dr. Neal, for yet another profound book!
