A Sexy Thriller!

Seduction is a sexy thriller with non-stop peril for both town and lovers. Plagued by flashbacks of a violent event and stalked by a lunatic, Belinda is nevertheless a strong heroine who holds her own and keeps her dreams alive. Well endowed in many ways, Cole is relentless in his pursuit of Belinda and guards her fiercely. But no one can foresee the dastardly plans in store for them. Luckily Cole has his friends Luke and Sam to help them fight the dangerous outlaws. Cole's charismatic friends could fill books on their own, and I hope they do!

Wonderful historical romance

Cole and Belinda's story is sweet and passionate at the same time. Both people have overcome hardships to become successful. Belinda is a singer with the goal of owning her own theater. Cole worked long and hard to become a successful businessman. His plan is to attract the railroad owners to build a line through his town, and he asks Belinda to be his temporary hostess. Her beauty and obvious culture would be a boon in softening the businessmen when they arrive in town. Belinda's family was murdered in front of her. Fortunately, she escaped, and now all that will make her feel safe is earning enough money to buy a theater in San Francisco. She considers Cole's offer of becoming his hostess as a means to make money and plans to leave town as soon as possible after his deal is made. Especially since she feels herself beginning to care for him. Cole is determined to seduce her, thinking she's experienced in other ways than just being an entertainer. He's kind of flummoxed to find that she acts like a proper lady and won't easily fall into his bed. Their relationship changes from one of convenience to one of real friendship as the weeks go on. They learn to respect each other which doesn't diminish the sexual attraction each feels. Cole is an alpha male. At the same time, he's nothing but gentle with Belinda, especially when she falls and is injured. His patient consideration when he cleans her wounds makes her feel safe with him even though they're in grave danger. I think this is when he really begins to fall in love. Belinda is no clinging vine, though. She's as strong and willful in her own right as Cole is. She has her own opinions and goals and is determined to carry them through. Only her growing love for Cole keeps her in town. Personality and physical details of the characters are laid in very delicately. The attention to the details of the landscape -- trees, flowers, and rocky terrain -- are well written. I felt as if I was right there in the scenes. And I've saved the best for last. Cole and Belinda's love scenes are exquisitely sensual and romantic. Seduction is rich in history and romance, and it has the added bonus of interesting secondary characters to complement the story of Cole and Belinda.

great historical western romance

Ms. Hamilton has written a well-researched historical romance set in the late 1800's in Arizona. Belinda Rose has overcome a terrifying past to establish herself as a singer and is on an opera house tour headed toward San Francisco. Her goal is to build a small opera house there and a home nearby. Cole McPherson owns many businesses in Sterling Springs AZ, including the opera house. Cole offers Belinda a, hmmm, business opportunity that would substantially increase her goal's fund. But can she trust the handsome man? Just when things looks all set, a spectre from her past threatens all she holds dear. Great reading!
