He fears her fate will be no different than his two previous wives...an early death due to the curse he and his clan carry upon their shoulders. But the stubborn lass refuses to see things as Ronan does, not after discovering she has the same Second Sight as her mother, Linnet. After having a vision of the Raven, Ronan MacRuari, she is determined that she is the one to save him and his clan from the evil that haunts them. He needs her and she will have it no other way. The mystery of the curse upon the MacRuaris slowly unfurls throughout the story, but you don't really know until the end. I enjoyed that bit of crypticness that carried throughout the book. I think Sue-Ellen writes such wonderful descriptions of the land of Scotland. The heather strewn hills. The mist clouded Lochs and mountains. The life she breaths back into the castle ruins of today, giving them back the life they had in their time of greatness. I love reading her books because you can feel how much that land means to her. She always adds a bit of lore that I find interesting. I enjoy reading her books for more than the romance, I love being swept away to that medieval time.

this book continues the story of a great family.the story is great and I for one cant wait for her sisters book to come out in the fall. if you like historicals this whole series would be an enjoyable read.

great paranormal historical romance

She has the gift of sight and has seen her intended in a vision. She prepares to bring sunshine into his heart while confronting the dark forces of evil who need her dead in order to possess the Raven Stone that MacRuari owns. SEDUCING A SCOTTISH BRIDE is a great paranormal historical romance starring two caring individuals whose love puts them at odds with each other. He would rather be celibate than place his Lady Gelis in harm; she would rather battle the entire forces of hell than give up her love. Great Historical Romance!

Author Sue-Ellen Wellfonder made frequent trips to the land of her dreams due to her twenty year career with the airlines. The only issue I had with the book was this curse. Well, not the curse itself, but the explanation of it. It was given in bits throughout the story, but I still don't feel any closure in fully understanding it. This is part of a series, I believe, so it is possible that it is further explained better in one of the other books. The plot flowed well and I adored the characters. I loved the side-story with the secondary characters, Anice and Hugh, too. This was a great mix if historical and paranormal romance. The setting and her depiction of it was superb.
