Security Industry Research in Singapore: Security Essentials for the 21st Century

Security Industry Research is adapted from the author's previous post-graduate research that evaluates the opportunity for growth in the Security Industry, the analysis of the need to hire more Security Professionals in Singapore, and the professional standard of the Security Personnel. In the research, the author has garnered certain information of public impression and opinion towards security personnel, and the need for skills such as self-defense, amid other competency certifications etc. In the author's radical interest for security, Special forces, counter-terrorism, and terrorism, the author hopes to contribute more of his future findings and experience through further communication with industry exponents, through his own further reading and research, and through his future study of security and counter- terrorism related courses and training. 'Security Essentials' is a bonus material added into the book for civilians and security personnel alike, to have some sense of personal security and protection through knowing some of the basic essentials. The items are not exhaustive and the bonus chapter introduces some of the basic essentials for all.
