Geoffrey Poitras has managed to write a comprehensive book on security analysis that doesn't leave anything out! Whether you want to learn about the history of security analysis, EMH theorists and technical analysis, to fundamental analysis, this is a great place to start. Poitras clearly portrays a practical view of the world of investment strategy and provides real life examples to support his theories and arguments. This is both a realistic and practical starting point for all students of finance.
