Digital revolution has made tremendous changes in data accessing and processing, which has influenced the domain of healthcare. The healthcare industry has quickly adopted to new technologies that helps to improve the quality of delivery in healthcare services. Cloud computing is also used in healthcare systems for various purpose like storing, sharing, managing health data records and so on. Health records are sensitive to many issues, hence security and privacy are major concern. According to Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), health records are categorized into three different types that describe different perceptions, They are Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Personal Health Record (PHR). Cloud computing provides an attractive platform to cut down the cost of EHR systems in terms of both ownership and IT maintenance that burdens medical practices.
