The true scoop!

Overall this book is great. I have to disagree with those that state that it was not good. As a security proffesional of 20 years, I thought the information was concise, accurate and right on target for the CISSP exam. Compared to other books that spend 5 pages on the history of cryptography, which will never be tested, this book is more straight forward. I emailed the author and a second edition is on the way, double the size and corrected the grammer issues. Now if you are looking for a literary master piece, then this is not your book. It is a very casual book and is more like reading someones notes for the test, but it gets the job done. I would highly recommend this book if you want to pass, as long as you are not offended by it's lack of grammer and editing skills.

Good Read

Good overall summary of what is needed for the CISSP. I would recommend this book. I got more out of it than the others. I would recommend more coverege on wireless issues, though i am not sure that the CISSP covers that in depth or not.

To the point!

I really enjoyed this book. It was to the point. It had many spelling errors that need to be edited out. The content was right on. It was very helpful in passing the exam. I emailed the author and a second edition is on the way soon with edits and updates. A must have if you want to pass!

Solid and Concise

I ordered this book and used one other. This was the best choice. I would definitely recommend it. When I took the test it helped more than anything,because there was not a lot of fluff. It did not take me 5 weeks to get the book either. A must read if you want to pass the exam.

Best CISSP book out there

I used all the CISSP books available--SRV and Prep Guide. SRV is a waste of time. This book is the best! It is not as formal as the others and more to the point!. I used this and was very satisfied! If you are looking for something without the fluff, then this is the book!
