After going through a terrible loss, Mike Andrews and his daughter Jamie try to find a way to cope. Several years later, Mike surprises Jamie on her 21st birthday with a trip to Mount Everest. Filled with excitement, the two embark on the journey and join a group of others also climbing the mountain. Until everything goes wrong and tragedy befalls the group of climbers. Not long after, Jamie, Mike, and one of the climbers Ryan all discover a hidden message engraved into the side of Everest. The message entails that there is a hidden treasure inside the mountain. However, they aren't the only ones in search of the treasure. When a group of British spies arrives, they intend to find the treasure first and will do whatever it takes to find it. Further tragedy soon befalls Jamie, Mike, and Ryan when an avalanche occurs, separating the three on different parts of the mountain. Can Jamie, Ryan, and Mike find their way back to each other and find the hidden treasure before the spies do? Or...will the secret within the mountain remain a locked-away mystery forever?
