This series has potential, but the characters definitely needed development and too much time was spent on the main characters daughter and ex. It was pretty good but from what I have read, this author's other books were far better. I am currently reading the next book in this series and it started off pretty good, so I will continue to read. I will probably purchase some of this author's other works as I hear they are better. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this but just not as much as I was hoping to.
