I loved the book. One of those stories that you just can't seem to put down. This is a journey into the life of Mary Magdalene and Jesus. The historical evidence reveals the "hidden" truth about her life as a great Master and Healer. The story line keeps a fast pace and I couldn't wait to turn the next page. I would highly recommend this book.

Noble heart and brilliant mind ...

We have often seen the Black Madonna with a baby in her arms. Could the baby be Sara, Jesus's daughter, instead of being Jesus? As a little girl growing up in the church, I had always had this secret love and admiration for Mary Magdalene even though my mom thought differently about her ... I would get mad with my mom and knowing deep inside my heart that she was the real goddess, and I would like to become her when I grew up instead of becoming an ordinary woman like ... Bettye Johnson's "Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls" brings great insights into the hearts of truth seekers. This book is weaved with sincere research by a noble mind. I have to get more copies just for my mom, and for the goddesses in all forms. That acutally include you and I. For She Who Sees All is with us all, in all time.

I just finished this book over the weekend, and I would like to say how much I enjoyed it. I have not read a book yet that has woven so wonderfully so many different and varied truths throughout its pages. I am greatly impressed and think the author did a fine, fine job getting a whole lot of truth out there for Mr. and Mrs. John Doe to read, and for all of us to read. I loved the ending of the last scroll. Beautiful. I highly recommend this book.

Well-Researched, Fascinating Facts

Although the storyline is fiction, the well-researched facts that the storyline is wrapped around enrich my mind and inspire poignant contemplations. My own research coincides with the gems of historical facts found in this book -- the Black Madonnas of Europe remember Mary Magdalene, Jesus' wife, as a black woman; the lies of the Church... the storyline is a wonderful platform for the courageous presentation of much factual information. I enjoy knowledge intermingled with a great story -- entertainment with very meaningful content. This is not empty-headed drama. I recommend this book as an experience!

How Refreshing!

How refreshing to see the story of Mary Magdalene told where she is treated with respect, intelligence and such a lofty perspective! Impeccable research is woven into an engaging story that twists and turns, weaving the past with the present, making a delightful, yet thoughtful, read. I kept turning the pages waiting to see what would happen next! And when I finished the book, it left me asking a lot of questions about the grossly maligned historical presentation of such an incredible and marvelous woman. Highly recommended.
