I am thankful for the message that Mrs. Dove lovingly shares with young women; she expresses a truth that, if embraced, truly has the potential to set women free to live full lives. The truth is that modesty of body and spirit is a powerful blessing for both women and men, and the author shares practical tips as well as the spiritual truths behind the principle of modesty. A relevant message presented with excellence.

I want to commend Grace on a wonderful insight. I have no daughters of my own, only boys and they read it and agreed with almost everything. (Some boys have different points of view on the competition aspect) I have also passed my book onto many girls that I am in contact with and have noticed a improvement on the way they look, act and carry themselves. Even as a mother of two and very happy in my marriage, I have found some of the passages that she quotes are useful in my life. Thank you Grace for opening up a door that some would prefer to remain shut.

What a refreshing book!!

This is one of the best books I've read for girls! As the mom of five daughters, I am so excited to see a book written for girls that equips them with information they could never get on their own. I have watched the lights go off in my daughter's brains as they were reading this book. Things they had never even considered suddenly made perfect sense to them. In an age where women are treated as sex objects and where modesty has gone out the window, it is refreshing to find a book that shows girls that mystery is a good thing, and they are beautiful and valuable in God's eyes. I highly recommend this book for every teen girl and every mom of daughters.

Must Read!!!

I am a high school teacher. Grace Dove knows what she is talking about when it comes to guys (I taught two of her sons!). :) She has written articles for Brio magazine and influenced many girls in our church youth group with her thoughtful and wise counsel of being a girl after God's heart. For all you tween, teen, and college girls (and moms!), this is a must read!

The best book I've read for teen girls!

Not only was this book written by my aunt, Grace....it has a GREAT message. I can honestly say I have been affected in my daily life by the suggestions my aunt makes for relating to guys. Too many girls in today's world are making themselves TOO available...we have lost the mistique that young women used to have. Do you want to become another commonplace item? I don't think so! This book tells all women (any age) how to remain pure and to preserve their mystery as beautiful creatures of God. I HIGHLY reccomend it!
