It was a warm summer day, that May 26th of 2045. The Intrepid was ready to undock and continue its mission to TerraMarria.Commander Andrew Leon was the captain of the Intrepid and had been since it was first built a little over 5-years ago. Their mission was important to the survival of the human race existing on earth at this time. Though doctors finally found a cure for cancer using stem cells, other rare diseases began to spring up because of the conditions on earth at the time. The water was not drinkable and the air had become so filled with toxins that people needed to wear a breathing apparatus in order to be outside. Home air filtration systems were installed on all homes and family dwelling places.
