I'm a royal hot mess. At least that's what my parents think when the papparazzi snap a scandalous photo of me supposedly kissing my married horse trainer. Ugh, as if!

Until things die down, Mama and Papa want to send me off to America, incognito, to a place with horses and royalty. Fine, I can live with that.

I arrive in the middle of nowhere and find out it's a working ranch run by so-called rodeo "royalty." And that I'll be doing chores for a grumpy cowboy who's bent on making my stay miserable.

But the worst thing? I think I'm falling for him.

This is a working ranch. I hardly have time to supervise a work-visitor from an obscure country, even if she has sparkling brown eyes and a smile that lights up a room. I certainly don't need any distractions right now as I train for the next rodeo circuit. Plus, she's gonna leave eventually.

Which means I should resist the goofy way she says things or the fact that she cries over little baby animals.

And, most definitely, it means I will not fall for her.
