Hidden River of Lies

Both stories in this book are stories of action, of strong men, and told with authenticity as only Ernest Haycox could tell them. Joe Breedlove and Indigo Bowers are the stars of The Trail of the Barefoot Pony, and they bring their usual antics and bravery to this story with Indigo's gloomy outlook on life and Joe's light hearted banter in reply. But when the chips are down and it calls for bravery and action there are two no better men who can be relied on. If you can't find this particular edition of this book, Popular also had a 1960 printing; and Pinnacle published it in 1990--I have both of those. This is a very good book indeed and a must have for any collector of Ernest Haycox.
