Bume Town was quiet and secure. It was an excellent place to raise a family. One particular day, they had a party celebrating a profitable year. During the two weeks before the party, thirty people, men and women, settled into town. Nobody paid attention to the new people. Preparing to celebrate kept them too busy to notice. These newcomers murdered the sheriff and deputy and robbed the bank and stores and kidnapped the children as hostages.
