A must-read!!!!

This is one of the best books that I have ever read in my life!!! I have sat on the edge of my seat with adrenaline pumpiing as I turned the pages waiting to see what's going to happen next. The twists and turns of these ladies lives are unbelievable! Alexis, Jaylin, Adrienne, and Sheri all have a characteristic and a story that I have experienced or can relate to in some way. This is a must read and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed! Congratulations Angela and keep it coming.

Some Secrets NEED to be Told!!!

Alexis, Jaylin, Adrienne and Sheri have been friends for years. Alexis Stewart is an Executive Producer for the hottest daytime soap opera. Jaylin Saunders is the Publisher of a prominent, black publication. Adrienne Chambers is a sexy office manager by day, high priced call girl at night. Sheri Thomas is an investment manager for one of Wall Street's largest firms. First of all - Congrats to Ms. Wallace, "do it yourselfer independent author"!!! When I first heard about the book, I was eager to read it. I promised I would be objective. Once I started reading it, I was hooked. The author ingeniously interweaves the lives of not only the main characters, but the other characters in the story as well. Descriptive, yet classy love scenes. Scandal. Great dialogue between the characters and plenty of DRAMA!!! You name it - it's in there: Struggle of independent women. Importance of friendship. Relationship issues. Money issues. Drug addiction (I ain't squealin' on which one is the addict, read it for yourself!!) Money laundering. Murder. All the makings of a great made-for-tv mini-series! Reminded me a lot of the Jackie Collins type novels that had me hooked back in the day. It's a real page turner. As I got toward the middle of the book, I couldn't get to the next chapter quick enough. When I realized I was almost finished, I tried to pace myself to drag it out. A intriguing story with a well thought out plot and great characters. What I really and truly enjoyed about this book was: The men were not all dogs!!! Realistic, well-developed male characters with positive traits. (Does Malcolm have a brother?!?) Support this writer!! I already sent her my suggestions for the sequel... PEACE

Afrocentric Sex In The City

I must say this was a remix of The Saprano's and All My Children. I really enjoyed this book. It was hard to put it down. It is really sort of a mystery/suspense in a way. I love the way you surrounded it around the Mob, that made it even more interesting. I like how you brought the relationship between Sheri and Adrienne together. These two sistas were really going through their own separate situations but overall could relate to each others separate problem. It just would have been more predictable for any of the other ladies to come to her aid and be the way to instill the positive message that Adrienne presented. I believe that the male figures in the book are realistic, some women may beg to differ but I like how you made them out to be positive and not so bad, now I can't say the same for Mike Brown but his character just made the story HOTTER! I like how in the ending all the characters were pulled together even though in the beginning you would have never imagined their connection. Now Antonia was truly a fatal attraction honey. You can surely see her family traits from head to toe. She really tried to use that family status at her advantage and I love the way you worked it out where it all worked against her. Overall, this was a fabulous novel it could definitely be turned in a mini series so put that out there and claim it. I would be a number one fan.

NO MORE DRAMA

I PICKED THIS BOOK UP AT THE HARLEM BOOK FAIR AND IT WAS AN INCREDITABLE FIND MS. WALLACE IS REALLY GOING TO MAKE HER MARK IN THE BOOK WORLD (NO PUN INTENDED). I READ THIS BOOK IN 3DAYS SHE HAS SUSPENSE, MOB TIES,AND SUCCESSFUL WOMAN WITH A LOT OF DRAMA. THIS IS A MUXT READ AND I MET THE AUTHOR SHE IS A VERY NUCE LADY I CANT WAIT FOR HER NEXT ONE.
