Maya, a young girl, all of 17, was unaware that life was to take her on a roller coaster journey. She battles her parents for simple things in life, coming from an orthodox Indian family. She finds herself in a constant stretch between her love for her parents, who have a stronghold on traditions, to a free mind of her own, which wants to grow and explore.

Her parents, though loving, are blinded by societal pressure and bribed by dreams of having their daughter getting married and settling in America.

Unable to fight a toxic marriage, Maya loses herself, until her guardian angels help her break free. Loss of loved ones and a series of disappointments leave her alone.

Struggling to stand back up, she begins to break free and climb the ladder of success in the glamour world.
