Was the woman found floating in the water only another throwaway drug addict or a mother who tried to care for her challenged daughter? The setting, either in the Capital City itself, a throwback to Victorian England with its tearooms in one corner and dark alleys in the other or in the leafy rainforest enclaves of nearby native reserves, embraces the story like a custom-made suit.
