I loved this book!I loved it so much that read it three times!BONNIE HOPKINS knows how to write a book!When I read the first part of the book I thought it was so messed up how maxie jackson left her by her self to raise the baby,but that was his lost!I loved the way J.P.gilmore fall in love with jacetta williams ,but to her and to me he was a little aggressive at times.That almost made him miss out on her!She to almost missed out on true love to because of pass relationships and mistakes.Over all to me the book was great!It was such a beautiful love story I laughed,cryed,and fell in love over,and,over and over again.Three times that is!GREAT BOOK!

Great Debut!

I loved how the author dealt with the real life issues of recognizing the seasons of life and how God equips us with the necessary things to help us to get through those rough seasons and to shine in the abundant seasons. I was not dissappointed. I espically loved how the author showcased a strong male, positive, spiritual warrior in J.P., a willing and able vessel to be used by God. If you are looking for a good story, this is a great book to pick up. I look forward to reading more by the author in the near future!

After years of suffering the pain of abandonment by her family, church and boyfriend, struggling as a single parent and constantly trying to make a descent life for herself and her daughter, Jacetta finally feels that things are going in the right direction. With a fulfilling career, good friends and family and a strong relationship with God, Jaci truly believes that her life is as good as it gets. After a few unsuccessful attempts at love, Jaci has been somewhat content with her single status until she meets J.P. Gilmore, a man more than capable of making any woman forget about past heartbreaks. In J.P. Gilmore, Jaci finds a man she respects, loves and more importantly trusts. And while their love story seems destined for happily ever after, there are more than a few road blocks these two will have to overcome. Jacetta Williams has seen more stormy days than sunny in her life. At 21, after graduating from college, she meets and falls head over heels for Maxie, a man who is not only married but also abandons her after Jaci winds up pregnant. After being turned away from her family, Jaci struggles to raise her daughter and make ends meet. She depends on her faith and strength in God to see her through. Now that her daughter is grown, married, and has children of her own, Jaci believes that her "season" of finding love is over and is content with her career, and grandchildren until she meets Jason Gilmore. Once again, Jaci finds herself falling hard but this time, she's more cautious, older, and wiser. Jason falls hard and must depend on his faith in God to be patient and prove to Jaci that the past is the past and that she must let go of the past to look forward to the future. That is until Maxie comes back into the picture, determined to be a part of Jaci's life and to pick up where they left off. Not only is Jaci's personal life falling apart but soon things begin to happen at work as someone is determined to destroy Jaci's career and all that she has worked for. Jaci must once again depend on her faith to see her through. Seasons is a wonderful, inspiring, moving read that teaches a wonderful, life-long lesson: With God, All Things are Possible. Bonnie Hopkins has written realistic characters whose situations are ones that can be related to. This book will touch you and you will root for Jaci as she finally finds her "due" season. Seasons is a must-read for all of you who love Christian fiction but even if you don't, this book has something for everyone: Romance, Drama, and Mystery. It is a must-read!! I.N.Credible

This book was incredible. It is truly a life changing experience. It is a moving testimony to the power of God and those who believe in His Word. The characters will reach out and grab you and not let go. A real page turner, that will have you reading at the speed of light to see what happens next. A great read for bookclubs, individuals or a women's study group. I highly recommend this book.
