Season's Change
Yuuki Kobayashi has always been more comfortable behind a camera.
Through the lens, the world makes sense. He can capture the moments other people overlook without having to become part of them himself. But during a spring lantern festival along Tokyo's Sumida River, his camera keeps finding the same person.
Soobin.
Warm, easygoing, and impossible not to notice, Soobin is everything Yuuki isn't. What begins with a few photographs soon becomes conversations beneath the willow trees, shared evenings among glowing lanterns, and an unexpected connection that makes Yuuki wonder what might happen if he finally stepped out from behind the lens.
For the first time, Yuuki isn't simply documenting someone else's life.
He's becoming part of the picture.
But when a sudden blackout threatens the photographs that have come to mean more to him than he wants to admit, Yuuki must confront a question no camera can answer: Does a moment need to be captured to prove it was real?
Set against cherry blossoms, lantern-lit evenings, and the banks of the Sumida River, Season's Change is a tender BL romance about first attraction, unexpected connection, and discovering what it feels like to be truly seen.
Sometimes the most important moments are the ones you stop trying to capture.
