Seasons is the fourth book of poetry written by Margo Wasserman Waring and it is in many ways her most personal. The volume includes poems from all the adult years she has been writing, from her very first to her latest. Many of the themes in her earlier volumes of poetry - Sheltering, A Covid Journal in Poetry and Prose, Growing Older in This Place, and Even Older are also found in Seasons. The external and internal worlds, the importance of the place she calls home and the impact of the passage of time are some of the themes that run through all of her volumes. Many of the poems in Seasons are impressionistic, based on the physical and social environment in Alaska where she lives, where fleeting physical experiences are not uncommon. Seasons may well be Waring's most impactful collection of poetry.
