Fun romantic suspense

I haven’t read a Terri Reed book in a while; I’m glad I was able to read this one. Filled with adrenaline, fast-paced action, and suspense, the book was a quick and satisfying read. Zoe and Chase were a great couple together. Though both had experienced pain and were slow to start a relationship, their interactions were tender. I loved baby Kylie and the sweetness she added to the plot. I didn’t realize that the book was a part of a series until a few chapters in. You can definitely read this book as a stand alone and enjoy Zoe and Chase’s journey toward love and faith even without knowing the backstories of the K-9 team that surrounds them.
