Creeping down the alley, Eb, Karl, and Little Tim stopped about a quarter of the way when a dog started barking from the other end. Dressed in blue-black jeans and hoodies, along with black shoes, they all had ski masks covering their faces so the last thing they wanted was to be seen so they all crouched and waited for the dog to stop barking. Even though it was close to midnight in the small mountain-city of Charleston, West Virginia, odds were that not everyone was asleep.
