A storm breaks out in London at the end of summer when two men, Amon and Leonard, find themselves taking refuge from the deluge in a forgotten pub. Amon notices that he knows Leonard, unleashing a flood of painful memories from university days years ago when their friendship was destroyed by their adoration of the same woman. In an attempt to rebuild their friendship they decide to go on a journey to walk the famous Besseggen ridge in Norway. Instead, jealousy returns with full force as they trek through the mountains, throwing up perilous twists and turns as they head into the unknown.
