Scruffy the Legend

The author really captures the feeling of living with a Keeshond. I currently have a Keeshond and previously owned or cared for a Pomeranian and American Eskimo. Scruffy's story really brought back memories of things my dog have done. The writing style is unique, but very suited to the subject. I just wish the book was longer and had more pictures.

Scruffy the Legend!

Scvruffy the Legend is a heart warming dog story by an owner very much in love with his unusual dog as he learns to know him. Scruffy becomes a special needs dog as he ages and the ideas that his people came up with were creative and helpful ideas for other owners of special needs dogs. The picture of Scruffy in a "dog cart" or wheelchair, sold the book for me, as I had such a dog. If you love dogs, read this book!

Scruffy the Legend

Scruffy the Legend is a wonderful portrayal of a man's love for and devotion to his dog. The author's descriptions and accounts of Scruffy's life made me feel like I was right alongside him for the wonderful ride that was Scruffy's life! I highly recommend this book to anyone that has ever loved and lost a pet companion. You will not be able to put it down!

Refreshing

This is a heartfelt little book that captures the essence of living with a keeshond entirely. Don't expect this book to be a training manual or a definitive guide to the breed. The author stresses that he is no expert on dog training --- and not really a writer, either --- but it's a tribute to his dog and that genuine affection shines through. Although no two keeshonden are the same, the stories he tells about his "Scruffy" will cause anyone who ever loved a keeshond to smile.
