Scripture Speaks Scientifically

Believing that nothing can produce something is difficult, if not a little crazy. To Kay Coleman there must be a fundamental "something" that has always existed-perhaps vibrating strings that are faster than light that can be slowed to the speed of light particles of spacetime. Genesis 1:3, "Let there be light," marking the beginning of time, was described much later in the 1980s by Alan Guth as inflation beginning in a trillionth of a trillionth of a trillionth of a second. God already existed according to Genesis 1:1. Guth acknowledged that his Big Bang does not explain what banged and why it banged. He later proposed that inflation repeats itself, with no beginning to explain. John the Revelator actually scooped Guth in 95 AD when he referred to the "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," an everlasting circle of continuous creations.

The most fundamental, uncreated particles of everlasting existence may have been explained in 1833, when Joseph Smith revealed that man was in the beginning with God: "Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be." Sounds a lot like the 1970s scientific theory, in which minuscule vibrating string loops have massless momentum, and the way in which they vibrate determines what they will be. Humans as well as our Creator appear to have always existed in some form or another, organized from infinite intelligent strings.
