This book of poems came about after many years of a journey to self-discover what is now known as a major "Lifetrap", abandonment. Prior to this compilation, I had attempted writing my feelings in verse over thirty five years ago to no avail. Once I started journaling my feelings in verse, I could not stop. Over one hundred poems were written in a span of just ten months, of which this inaugural edition contains forty. Each poem with its accompanying photograph is an attempt to convey the emotions felt at that time. In summary, these writings were very instrumental in helping me to embark on a journey of healing from the one major Lifetrap that set those associated feelings in motion. It is my hope that all who read this work will find some degree of healing and growth in their life as well.
