Dusty is a bit different than other twelve-year-old boys - and not just because he's new to the town of Santa Fe. He spends most of his time in his own little world, finding more of a connection with the coyote he sees on his walk to school every morning than he does with his classmates. On his way home one evening, he notices a mysterious amber glow coming from a hidden tunnel nestled deep within the arroyo near his house. He begins to experience strange sightings and hints of an otherworldly creature. As his sense of disconnect with the world around him continues to grow, he feels increasingly drawn toward the tunnel, and the secrets it may hold...
