Word Problems of all Kinds...

I bought this for my younger son who flies through math workbooks, and this was no exception. He did this in three days. So for a child who loves math, this book isn't going to provide a lot of extra enrichment. It contains 150 word problems separated by type - geometry, measurement, number sense, data analysis/probability, patterns/algebra, and everyday math. However, I do recommend this book for any child who struggles with word problems and needs practice. There is only one problem per page, so it is not overwhelming. EAch page also contains two good hints on how to attack the problem are provided, and below the hints, the answer, so a child will not have to flip back and forth and can get immediate feedback and assistance. The are a few pages dedicated to organization and setting goals, and a link to the website where there are additional problems.
