The Adventure Continues.... Rule One of TimeJumping was broken, but luckily disaster has been averted (at least for now), and Jules, Gen, and Theo are back. Their first adventure had them whisking... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This well-written book contains a number of forms (weekly schedule, goal-setting, priority worksheet, etc.) to help 4th-graders get organized as well as language arts exercises. The presentation is very imaginative: Each question has two answer hints located towards the bottom of the page (if needed) and an "Answer Hider." Every fun chapter contains a Challenge Activity, a Quick Test, and a Celebration Activity. There are also "tools" to guide the learner through the various "camps" (chapters): Vocabulary, Writing Structure, Grammar, Reading Nonfiction, Reading Fiction, and Everyday Writing. The encouraging words peppered throughout this book add to its creative presentation. Online activities are also included with this little gem of a book; however, the online login form refused to accept my email address and I wasn't comfortable with the fact that they wanted my child's email address (even though I understand their reasoning). But even though I couldn't take advantage of the touted 60 interactive online activities, I still have to give this 171-page treasure a five-star rating.
